We're super excited to announce we'll be hosting a premiere of Level 1's "Sunny" for our rail jam after party!
Friday, October 19th will be our 3rd annual UBC Ski and Board Club Rail Jam, on campus at UBC. After a great success last year (http://newschoolers.com/membervideo/382495.0/UBC-Ski-and-Board-Club-RAIL-JAM?s=84033&t=2&o=8
), we're stoked to put this event on again. Here are some details:
On campus at UBC, between IKB and Koerner Libraries. Next to the clock tower.
Registration begins. $2 for ski and board club members, $10 for non-members (memberships will be sold on location for $20. check out all the perks you can receive with your membership card in both Whistler and Vancouver: http://www.ubcskiandboard.com/category/perks/

JAM! Complete jam format with snowboards and skiers riding together. If anything just come out to get some preseason hits! Finals will be a condensed jam. Prizes will be awarded for all sorts of shennanigans, provided by our sponsors: Whistler, Showcase, Cariboo, Quicksilver, Recon Instruments, Rockstar, Surface, and many more.
There's been talk of Surface unveiling their brand new ski, the Blank, as a top ski prize.
We'll have the same 30' skinny box as last year, plus one feature yet to be revealed.
: The Pit Pub (on UBC campus, 19+ venue so bring your IDs!).
Doors open. We'll be starting with Random Bastards' "Blue Balls" (snowboard flick) and finishing up with Level 1's "Sunny".
By donation (again, proceeds go to VASS). Recommend $5-$10
We're working on getting some drink specials for the night.
