If you cant find Line boots (probably wont) look for some rachille type that is simmilar ff not exactly the same to the line boot. Dont know the name... but im sure someone here does.
(rachille 'worked with' line to develop there boot)

the line boot has been out of production for like 3 years now. the dalbello krypton boot has a similar rachet system though, and looks pretty sweet.

yeah, i have a pair in that size, but they are pretty beaten. ill sell them for like 20 if you want them. but you are gonna want to go to Dalbellosports.com, check out the ZX supersport and krypton. i like the ZXs alot more, but the krypons are gettin a lot of hype. in fact, im goin in tommarow to buy some ZX supersports. all the features, better built, similar fit, and they come with soft tounges.

i wish i could put up a poll to see what boots i should get. Ive been lookin at the 1080s but idk how good they are. im using Nordica GPs right now. so pretty much the worst boot ever ever for free skiing. what does everyone recomend i buy?

I have line bullets right now but i think i am going to be buying some line darkside titaniums this week as i was inspired by the previous post about ditchin the skiboards. So what would be a good boot to go with these skiis. I'm more into just screwin around on the downhills then the park. Havnt really tried any tricks yet but this will be my 14th season skiing.

I would probably try trying them on before you buy them. a lot of people like the 1080 boot but to me it feels like a piece of shit on my feet

better than the jellybean green 1080s. The salomon guys said last year their goal was to make an ugly boot. There it was. This years is tight, it looks normal when the pant cuffs cover most of it

well i went and tried on boots this weekend and the Dalbellos were amazing. I tried on the 1080s and they felt like crap. I also tried on the Lange CRL80FRs and i didnt like them either. Then i tried on the Dalbello ZX8s and they were the most comfortable and best fitting boot ive ever tried on. So i came home and ordered the Dalbello ZX Supersports. Now i just need some skis.

good call. they are nice huh? i have a pair sitting up in my room. they are nice boots. i took the adjustable heel ramp mech appart and added a full boot sole suspension. i took the footbeds out to make room for the padding, and added a half length arch support/heel cup. fits great.

just know what im doin. its actually pretty low tech. the first thing i did, is pull the footbed out. then, i popped the adjustable heel lift mech out (you just pry it upwards, and it unclicks). i drilled out the triangular wedge so it would float on the bolt. origonally i used a binding spring, but that was way to stiff. i ended up usin a chunk of rubber, and put it behind the triangle, so as you push the footbed down, it squeezed the rubber. i would sugest some kinda teflon lube, cause it doesnt slide all that great. i put strips of rubber under the toes and heels. the old heel lift is mostly for big impacts.

i am also goin to remove the lip that keeps the uppercuff locked (so it flexes backwards further), and i am gonna remove the forward flex lock bricks. if you take the rear spoiler off, you'll see them.
