Gonna be announced early september. Available in october. Whos getting one?

I have had the same 3gs for 3 years so I'm gonna pick one up for sure. If i get another iphone on the same carrier, can i swap between my iPhone 5 and 3gs just by swapping the SIM card? I wanna use my 3gs as my party phone when i go out at night.

Anyways. This video shows that the screen will be larger and the dock connector will be different. Anyone know of anything else? I hear there was gonna be an "iPhone wallet" app.

Full on customization. If you like how you're stock iphone looks then fine. Also, you can overclock the processors on androids and they run faster. The screen on the galaxy is almost the same pixel density ratio as the iphone and its 4.65 720p HD screen. There are a ton of little things you can fuck with and it love it. Its all subjective really.

It is all subjective. For example, I personally think that doing all that to a phone is a ridiculously nerdy waste of time. I want music, a camera, a phone, and directions with me at all times. I'm not playing Diablo II on my phone.

It's invincible. It definitely should have been crushed by skating with it in my pocket. Or damaged fatally from dropping it so many times. It shouldn't have survived having 1/2 a bottle of water spille on it either, but I took it apart and let the components dry out.

Is there any way you can check when the phone was activated or something, I'm trying to find out how long I've had it.

no fuck that, i dont know if you have one but i am sick and tired of magically placing it in there just right so it can charge and if im driving dare i hit a bump, im fucked because then i have to start all over apples version is much cleaner and stays in there. plus half the time it wont charge

i currently have an HTC thunderbolt, and i hate it with a passion. it was rooted at a point in an attempt to get more than 4 hours of battery life. didnt work, i got an extra battery. unrooted it and did a factory reset, after awhile every Google app on the phone started to fail.... Google phone huh? any one looking for a new phone disregard the android they stop updating your phone after a year, and customer service is terrible. /rant end
my 2cents on the topic i will be picking a 5 up the day it is available.

Not our fault you treated your phone like shit and don't know how to use it. Google doesn't update your phone? Newsflash, you carrier (unless youre unlocked) updates your phone, which you can manually do by unlocking (which you seemed to be somehow smart enough to handle). Yes, you htc probably does have shitty batt life, it was the first 4gLTE phone to come out. My galaxy nexus lasts me all day without a charge and I also have an extra battery so if i do need more, I have it. HTC phones arent the best IMO, the true google phone, aka the galaxy nexus, is 100 times better than the iphone 5 will even be. The fact the iphone 5 has iOS makes it a piece of shit. Google > Apple and if you really want to argue that, you might just be handicapped.

This is not a fact, at all. Every android phone ive had (one for over a year and now one for 9 months) has never been slow, laggy, worse battery, ANYTHING. you fucking apple deepthroaters need to open your fucking eyes. If you want you iphone, thats fine, but its a fact that android is outselling apple with smart phone and apple is scared. Know how I know that? theyre trying to sue (have had some go through) against samsung because they make BETTER PHONES that are MORE POPULAR. luckly for apple, their computers are 100 times better than their phones.

Valid statement, i dunno about a couple hundred, i think its under 100. But I was talking about the past year. No one buys old smart phones, so its probably like 12 vs 3. I'm just saying, android is becoming popular and the iOS is getting worse and worse. Use jelly bean (4.1) for an hr and then go back to iOS, you'll probably shoot yourself.

I mean, mine fits fine. I never notice it and never have a problem. My pants/shorts are pretty normal. Whatever though, to each their own, buy an iphone, thats you choice.

Unless you wear skinny jeans literally any phone will fit in your pockets. I have a galaxy s3 and it feels fine in my pocket, hell, I've put a Samsung note in my pocket and it was fine.

meh, the galaxy nexus is still arguably better than the s3, mostly because the nexus is pure google. That being said, the next nexus phone (samsung again) looks to be very similar to the galaxy nexus with a few tweaks. After that, im guessing google will make a nexus with motorola (since they now own them) and it will be like the droid nexus or something. Should be interesting. I dont have an upgrade for like 14 months so im just sitting back and watching for now.
