lets compile a list of dieing and dead trends in skiing and then argue about whether there on there way out or not. heres a few to start the list off

one pieces
studded belts

cameras with handles
those hats with strings
those head bands with strings

Naw, real cork threes (think Anthony Boronowski, X=10) are dope, def different than loops.

Tom did a real ill loop in that DTF edit from whis that he threw like a cork three, sorta like the whole wackflip / flat three thing.

Haven't read the whole thing but: CRASH AND CLEAN's!!! Manufactured by Jib Culture circa 2002 or so. I google image searched Jon Reedy but no shots with a Crash and Clean unfortunately.

That's true. The Heli shot on the park jump of that cork three is forever embedded in my mind, not the best shot but still one of my favorite of all time

watch pretty much any edit and you will see kangs, and didnt the super kangknown come back last year? and there is still plenty of busy patterns out there

im not talking about edits, im refering to what i see folks at the mtn doing. my opinions based in this are what most people are doing vs edits. not saying i disagree with u completely.. And same with the outerwear.

I don't think cameras with handles are a dying trend because that actually has a practical use and I know that I will use one to make sure my video is less shakey and I have more control.

Well I think that it is heading that way. Did we see any tight pants a couple years ago? There may of been a few. I am not saying it's classy right now, but I hope it to be in the future, and I think it will.

So true. Loud colours aren't as 'in' as they once were, the standard of baggyness seems to be on the decline and facemasks/balaclavas seem to be replacing bandanas.

Also, has anyone noticed that GOLD reflective goggles (ie like EDOLLO's profile pic) seem to be waaay less common? And are being replaced by matte black/POC style goggs-usually non reflective.

Seems subtlety and clean lines are the new look, taking over the flashy/show-offy thug style of 07-09/10ish.

So many different opinions and such a subjective subject, but in my eyes, there's certainly a good few things that are starting to die off.

1. Ridiculously fat pow skis. (ex. EP Pro transforming into the Opus)
2. It may just be a trend, but I like that skiers are starting to look a lot less ghetto with baggy raggy huge clothes and starting to wear fresh looking street clothes.
3. I think the divide between 'park rats' and 'big mountain skiers' is starting to close a lot more than when it started out as the sport is fusing so much with both aspects.

I'm so glad for this, we can now look somewhat sensible. Before, most Nsers looked like a bunch of clowns. I've always rocked muted colours, I always will.

Also, the stupid "Try Hard Hesh"jeans tucked into boots fad is going away.
