From what I've heard, it's the adult version of Twilight. Really generic, average character that any woman could put themselves in the place of, has a ton of sex with some incredible male character. Of course women are gonna fucking obsess over that. They get to put themselves in the position of fucking some hot dude while still being incredibly average. Apparently it's also very poorly written (like Twilight), which doesn't surprise me because a book like that doesn't have to be written well for millions of women to get sucked into it.

That's just what I've heard, though. I haven't read any of the books.
