Okay idiots, pay attention; it is time to face up to reality. I want you to go into your bathroom and look yourself in the eyes in the mirror.

Repeat after me.

This is a twelve-step program and you have to get past the first step TODAY, and the first step is to admit to yourself that you were WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG to support an invasion of Iraq because you were told they had weapons of mass destruction.

You waved that plastic made-in-China flag in front of your face to the point where it was acting as a red, white, and blue blindfold behind whose comforting blindness you eagerly cheered sending other people’s children off to kill and be killed in Iraq. I hope those free hot dogs at those sponsored rallies tasted really good, because other people paid for them in blood.

There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. There were no parts to weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. There were no programs to build weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. There was no link between Saddam Hussein and 9-11. There was no link between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda itself appears to be a front group for the Mossad.

That’s reality. Deal with it.

I imagine the reflection in that mirror is looking rather foolish right now. At least it is if you have any self-honesty. And no, I do not feel like being gentle. We who knew the truth of the deception used to start this war tried being gentle. We tried being gentle for months, only to have you wave your plastic made-in-China flag and free hot dogs all that much harder at us, while screaming “Traitor� at those who dared suggest that claims of Iraq’s WMDs might be “exaggerations�. I’m still getting that cheap mustard out of my clothes and am not in a generous mood. You guys were wrong. There is no other way to put it. You were wrong.

Now, I don’t want you to feel shame. Well, maybe a little shame and humility might be good for you. But what I really think the next step should be is anger. You flag-waving morons should be righteously pissed off at the liars in government who turned you INTO flag-waving morons. You were used. You were rolled. You were swindled. The government you trusted and supported has made total fools of you before the eyes of the world. Nobody but an idiot or a paid government shill can go on pretending that this war or this government have any legitimacy left.

It is time for the next step.

Be angry.

Be very angry.

And put down that stupid plastic made-in-China flag and wipe that cheap mustard off of your chin.

were is past tense, so any time that Iraq had WMD it would fall under were being that it was in the past. SO if Iraq ever did have WMD the the statement “There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq� is wrong because at some point there were.

Americans, your arguments are valid, your logic compelling. But on the small picture. Not enough americans have a big enough scope, at max it's subconsciously focused on earth, as to focusing freom our galaxy, our communits, our credibility compared to thousands of historic years where millions of people died for their beliefs. Some people still want to live this way. SOme of them are born in america, and end up killing. others transform it with the aid of conditioning and healthy families and still end up wanting to kill people, especially for something they believe in, such as a family, or their houses, or their starbucks every day, twice a day, whatever. NOw sure, justifications are everywhere, and they are powerful. True Power Comes From Never Thinking You Have To Justify. Also called blinding ignorance, a disease suffered by so many of our darling youth. At some point you have to stop think ing you are the youth, but that their are youth replacing you. If you still feel youthful, and still want to save the world and havent, well fuck that shit, what are you, a manager? a supervisor? well, usually thats all the justification you need, especially if youre married with a kid, but at least you have the support of 2 families when you get married. There are 2 choices in life after 15: Friends or Family.
if you try and keep both, it may become taxing, frustruating, etc, especially if you have lived free after high school. Living free is a beautiful thing. I like that Liscense plate from teh states, live free or die. Sure, its a great slogan.

The slogan at my high school was Play the Game. great, perfect. what a good motto.

there is a lot of fucked up stuff in the US right now. there has been for years. The media is going to hell, politics as a whole are fucked up beyond belief, and the country is being run on the wrong principles as a whole. The fact that millions of people are homeless and/or living in absolute poverty and have no way out except to sell drugs and prositution should send a signal. why the hell do we put so much money into iraq, libya, liberia, serbia, and all these other countries where there are problems, when there are problems at home that get almost no money (welfare isn't working fi anyone hadn't noticed). The way the government and most americans view the rest of the world digusts me. they think, 'we're america, we're the best country in the world. What we say and do is right, anyone who disagrees is wrong.' I don't know how you can change that, because far to many people in the country are blind to the world. I've been lucky enough to have teachers who have showed me the other side of things. I've been lucky enough to travel through diffrent places and interact with people form all over the wrold. it's definitly helped my perception of things. the US isn't right all the time. Why should we go in and attack Iraq for not allowing weapons inspectors from the UN to go in and look for WMDs? It's the UN's job. focus on teh problems closer to home.


that's how I see things. there is still so much I love about this country and my home, that it would be hard for me to leave, but there's a lot here that makes me want to.

Well, we are still a fairly new country in terms of comparison. Human society as a whole is also very new. Obviously the system we have right now isn't working very well, but you need to try a lot of different things to work the 'kinks' out. We have yet to find a balance between enviornmental protection and economic well-being. I certainly don't feel everything we do as a country is right but I also don't believe we should follow an isolationist problem. The way I look at it is there will more than likley always be domestic and world-wide problems. Should we let these things stop our progression? The fact of the matter is the large majority of the people are doing well. Only time will tell whether or not our system will fit in on a global scale or not.
