I was on the xc team in gr 12 because all my friends were on it. Never trained at all. Went to a meet in Rochester, it was 5 miles and I finished last place: 205/205 BUT I DIDN'T WALK AT ALL

Yeah man i run both. Cross country is the best. Track kind of sucks though; I get way more nervous in track.

I'm more of a mid distance guy myself. Always got thrashed at 5k's and 2miles

I played golf last year in high school instead of xc lol. Always had fun distance running tho and started doing triathlons part of last year and this. If you like running and biking they're a ton of fun

This. I absolutely hate the anticipation before the gun. Literally a month before track season starts Im usually getting the same feelings as I do in the blocks. (I sprint but do cross country(poorly))

I've done almost every event... High jump, 400 intermediate hurdles, 110 high hurdles, javelin, 400, 800, 1600, 5k, 8k, 5 mile, and marathon. Favorite is def the marathon, so much fun.

My cousin was one of the top 50 runners in the country when she was in high school /Claim Funny thing is she was scared she wouldnt follow the course so she would run with the person in second until they were out of the woods and then she'd take off.

and I did track for the first time this year.
i've only done 3 meets so far but my best time was 7:06 for 2000m steeple, and 5:07 for 1500m steeple.
