Spring ACT Scores

Hate to break it to you but a 34 probably won't cut it. I have a few friends who scored in the 34-35 range (all Asian lol) and none of them got into ivy leagues. BUT they were offered pretty much full rides to a few good schools

It's all about extra curricular activities man. The middle 50% ACT scores for Ivies is usually between 32 and 34. The asian friends you have probably went try-hard and did all the clubs and shit they could instead of focusing on developing one or two interests. People who are activity whores look bad. College admissions departments know that most people who do as much stuff as possible just do it to look good, not because they actually care.

i want to get at least a 32 when i take it, my predicted score was 31-34 so 32 seems like a good benchmark

Took it a couple weeks ago and haven't got a score, shooting for over 30. I didn't study as much as I could have though, definitely will take it again.

got a 31. and i scored in the 97th percentile on the extra writing part (idk my score on that) and i got a 1920 on my sat. im pretty pleased

This This and This. I took it once and got a 27, then did a study course where we did a full test every weekend for 6 weeks, and ended getting a 31. Grammar rules are key and having a strategy for the reading is great. The strategy I used to boost my reading score 8 points was read the first chapter, the forth, and then look at the 2nd and 3rd and read the one you like more first. Also only Read the 1st chapter, skim the others.
