Alrighty,
Here's my dilemma, last year I rode 1260s and ARVs. 1260s had salomon s810 cp bindings on them, and the armadas (my powder skis) had Diamir Titanal 3 touring bindings on.
That was fine, but this year I'm using my 1260s as jib skis for skiing in my backyard and in this gravel pit and stuff, i sold my ARVs and I'm getting Eric Pollard Pro 186s.
So anyways, I don't know if I want to use my touring bindings on the Pollards, they'd be fine if I'm just skiing backcountry, but I'm not, I want to just hike for a ways and build a booter and session that instead of touring for an hour and skiing.
So anyways, the bindings have a thing in the back, when it's pushed all the way down they ski like a normal binding, when it's in any other position my heel can pop up. This is downright dangerous when skiing, it doesn't really matter when i'm just doing turns, but occasionally on a diamond run or one of the times i took them into the park the heel popped out and that's so scary because if i fell I can't see a way I WOULDN'T tear my ACL.
So anyways, should I sell my touring bindings and skins and get the LINE binding or some Rossis or something? Or should I keep the touring bindings and skins get easy access to pow.
By the way, last year I skied with 3 people who were all about backcountry, this year I'm skiing with 5 people that're all about BC booters and park.
I think I just wanna sell the touring bindings but I dunno how much money I'll get for them, anyone have an opinion on this?
