Track And Field Thread

Soo I dont think there have been any track and field threads recently, and I figured I'd start one. Put general discussion here, and talk about meets and events.

I'm a long/mid distance guy, usually run 400m/800m/occasionally the 1600m. fun but very painful sometimes

I run long distance- 800, mile, 2 mile, plus pole vault. Looking forward to this season!

Actually 4.23 was for the mile indoor. Miles about a second longer that the 1600

I remember hearing about you and Erik van Ingen back in the OG days! If you ever raced in the NE area (like Erik and Binghamton) we would have competed.. but I'm not a dec kind of guy.

I've just graduated, went 1:49 in the 800 and 4:06 in the mile (3:48 in the 1500). Now I'm coaching at the same school and working on a professional running career while I'm still young. I was also an #AllAmerican whattup.

btw, 1:48 is flying for a multi-eventer. Respect for the 3:58, I always love watching the multies.

Vault.. 12' .. which is tied for like 4th in the state right now.. Im looking to make 13'8" by the end of the month so i can qualify for arcadia!
And i long jumped for the first time in 4 years and got 16'6"... good or no?

jesus. where are you that 12' is top in the state for vaulting? In NY its like at least 15'. state champ last year, i believe, went 18'1"ish
