Need advice please. Newbie alert.

I am just getting back into skiing this season. Have been on haitus for the past 3 years. I am an intermediate skiier. I like to do off-piste and groomers. No park riding.

I would like to get a K2 Obsethed skis but not sure what size to get. I am 5'7" 150lbs. Should I go with the 169 or the 179. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

there must be a size in between that? 172? 179 would be huge! But 169 might feel a bit short with the early rise. Really about preference, I prefer a longer ski, I use 184s and I'm 5.11

Honestly you could handle either size. Do you like to carve really long turns or turn quickly in stuff like trees?

I'd go with the 179 given your size and weight. Your weight will help keep you all stable, along with help control a longer ski.
The Obsethed runs shorts than 179 do to its rocker. Don't be afraid.

Many people your size get skis that are 169, and end up regretting it.
