thats pretty badass. We have a chipmunk problem, we just smear peanut butter on the rim of a 5 gallon bucket and half fill it with water. they go for the sweetness, fall in, can't get out, swim till they are tired then drown. it's really cruel and inhumane. sometimes I shoot them with a pellet gun if i find em in there and they aren't dead yet.

my cousins set up a strainer as a catapult, holding it back with a string that ran under their door and then they'd cut the string when the squirrel was on it and it'd go flying


the video is on youtube, its pretty popular actually

When I was younger we had a squirrel problem for a while do my dad would catch them in squirrel cages then bring them to the other side of the turnpike, which is about a mile from my house. Worked pretty well

i can guarantee this doesnt kill the squirrel ive had to shoot a squirrel like three times in order to kill it they are strong little creatures

I saw two squirrels fighting in a tree around the trunk about 75 -90 ft up walking to the bus in high school and one fell off the fall was amazing so perfect like no flailing right on its back and died instatly

up in chicopee mass my buddy had a squirrel problem, and he trapped a few. he did something to them to kill em quick (pellet gun? poison? I cant remember). He asked his neighbor for his opinion on the problem and the neighbor told him it was city ordinance to drown them. like, keep them in the cage and drop the cage in a bunch of water. apparently somehow it was considered the most humane and best way. I dont know how I feel about that (maybe it was the best way, I dont know), but I helped with one of the squirrels and I felt pretty bad, he struggled like a motherfucker.

1st world people are weird about stuff like that sometimes, its just a rat really, we shouldnt care so much.

Only rented. Seems like its a hell of a lot more logical to rodent proof your house than to wage war with them lol. I have had problems with birds getting through the vents in my attic, just throw some decent wire mesh on there and problems solved. Same goes with crawl spaces and what not.

I dunno man, they are just rats with fluffy tails. My buddy had no squirrel problem for 3 years, then it started up in his attic. What I am getting at is I don't see how its his fault the little bastards finally made it in to his house. Its not like he was negligent for not doing more to squirrel proof his fucking shingles (a loose one on a roof corner ended up being the culprit).

People need to realize that squirrels are just outdoor rodents just, like mice or rats. I personally havent killed one and we dont have a problem with them at all. Squirrels are cute as hell but if they were ruining the garden or raiding local bird nests I'd have no problem taking my bow out and killing a few every week. I wish my town had more rabbits, so fuckin cute, so fucking delicious.

That's pretty cruel. There is a good chance it's not gonna die quickly at all. Why can't you just shoot them or trap them and break their neck/gas them with your truck?

shooting them is probably more fun anyways, especially if you are using a rifle instead of birdshot

Theres a good chance it wont die at all, tough lil bastards can most likely handle being thrown into some grass, and if they do die it would prolly be a spinal injury from the force of being shot aka instant.
