The Truth About the Draft

For those of you out there who are concerned that Bush will reinstate the draft...well, don't be.

Be concerned that the Liberals will reinstate the draft. Charles Rangel, a democratic senator, is the congressman that proposed the draft bill, and it is being co-sponsored a line-up of well known Liberals.

So those of you that don't want to see the draft comeback should contact the people listed above. Since it has been talked about before on this board and people continuously point the finger I Bush, I thought someone should clarify this.

Who else finds it odd that this is the same Democratic Party that says Bush sent our troops overseas without giving them a choice, yet they are willing to reinstate the draft?

Doubtful that this would ever pass in the Senate (or the House for that matter).

no one ever said it was bush (if they did they're uninformed). it's the government who's doing it, HOWEVER, it's because of bush's vietn.... I mean the war of terror that this is even being considered, and that IS because of bush.

Actually I have read numerous posts where people have stated that it is Bush that is 'secretly' (put on your tin hats people)pushing the draft. Just go to the search button and type in 'draft' and see for yourself. And actually the Army's re-enlistment and enrollment has been consistent with years past. Its just that we do need to send over more troops. A draft is not, and will not be necessary. Its just childish vengeance on the part of Rangel and his co-sponsors. They are pissed at Bush so they creat the Draft Bill. Again, its not like it matters though, because it will never pass. There was even a Democratic Senator that was speaking to a group of highschool kids a while back (I believe it was in Washington State)that said Bush was going to bring back the draft, a blatant lie.

HAHAHA shut up in every one of the threads about the draft everyone calls it bushs draft and all that shit.




Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

but ya, I know people have called it bushs draft. and like I said, it's because of 'his' war that it is even being considered. I still disagree with the draft even if a few liberals, or even all of them, are pushing it. It's not right.

I've been saying for a while that the democrats need to start spreading rumors on college campuses that Bush will reinstitute a draft if he's reelected. That's one way to get college students to vote in droves; people that aren't counted in polls because they didn't vote/weren't old enough to vote last time. True or not, I don't care; beat them at their own game. Have to go for the jugular.

Right now there is no need for a draft. The military is meeting their quotas every month. Honestly I think theyre bringing up the draft to scare people and make bush look bad. As soon as most people hear about the draft they blame bush for it.
