if these things actually sway voters, AMERICANS ARE STUPID. and they do sway voters, so AMERICANS ARE STUPID. atleast some of them.... i would sat a sizeable amount of them, becuase otherwise poloticians wouldnt waste the money.

no i mean the freedome for gay people to marry and have the same benifits are a 'normal' amrried couple. but of corse that is all bull shit to you guys. Mainly our freedome of speach and freedome of press. im talking about the relese of certian videos and also the fact that the US controlls all the interviews of soliders in iraq and all of even the media in general that gets into iraq. there are better places that dont get into other countries buisness as much and that i feel i can live a happier, more care free life in. gay marriage is only affecting gays. I don't get why people make such a big deal about it. Just let them have their freedoms, but when they start getting annoying and start dancing in tie dye in the streets, that's when people get upset. and isn't it our freedom of speech to tell you to get out if you don't like america? If you lived anywhere else, and complained that much, anyone would tell you to leave, even if it was your moms house. she would probably say, if you don't like it here then leave.

basically our slogan is the land of the free. our freedomes are slowley being chisseled away. i can see a reason to possibly get rid of a freedome if it actually phisically harms people or keeps them from enjoying their life or so on but it is my oppnion that some the the freedomes being taken away have bad motives behind them or they are religous (seperation between church and state...)

to relate to my earlier thought about potential canadian poll results, i am reassured that they would not be too different than the american poll results by a memory i have from my time living there. it relates to the fact that i cant remember how many times i had a canadian tell me that 'canada won the war of 1812' that statement my not be as bad as not being able to find your own country on a map, but its close.

I think that Canada would probably do a bit better than that.

When I was working the Sub- whistler, a kid came in, American like many there are in the summer, and ordered a sub. At the cash counter, he held up a few twonies and asked my how much they were worth, cause he didnt know how much money he had. Its not like it says 2 dollars right on the coin itself or anything.

no jaross, your spelling is far worse than the presidents speech. far, far worse.

and if youve got an english teacher telling you that spelling is obsolete, you might consider ignoring that teacher. its a presentation issue. no one takes you seriously on here. do you know why? its about 90% due to your spelling, and 10% due to content. theres lots of people who post stupid things, but you stand out because of the fact that your fingers refuse to hit the right keys on the keyboard. and why not try and spell correctly? what will it hurt to try and improve on an aspect of your life? the only thing you have to loose is your reputation as a terrible typist, and as someone who lacks a fundamental grasp of the english language.

And you'll get a much better response. It's not about using big words or sounding 'smart'. It's just simple, to the point and clear, while still maintaining a level of intellect that would ever provoke someone to consider your ideas.
