I searchbarred and didn't find anything.

Could I mount the plates dead center and still ski park with them? Or would the plates just rip out if I fucked up a jump.

I wouldn't they can bend when you fall or straight up break, no need to increase the chances.

I wouldn't, like the other guy said more chance of them breaking. And it could damage your ski more if you fall since it wot flex nearly as much as a ski could in high stress situations.
