It's not harder, but the distance Brown gapped was more technical than the mediocre park rail Wallisch 6d out of ballerina style. People were all over Wallisch's nuts for getting to the top of the wallride in Aspen - now all of the sudden dangerous tricks shouldn't be rewarded. Wallisch's trick is clearly more technical, but everyone's seen it before. Have you seen someone gap a reasonable sized rail with a misty 4? Tom had an amazing run, but so did Bobby. I'm not a huge fan of Bobby's style, but I'm getting really tired of Tom laying down the same jumps every comp and winning with them. Wallisch could easily have beat Bobby this comp if he laid down something original on jumps.
I don't think its at all arguable that Bobby's long gap over dangerous consequences deserves a better score than a switch pretz to Wallisch's natural side (right foot forward) 6 out. If you want to argue spins, Tom shouldn't have won x games in aspen.
