Rossignol S3/7s

Hey all, first post and all. Long time browser though.

Already been in to look at the Skis in question, however I'm on a very quick time frame (they're in the sale both last sets left and I have to decide by tomorrow) so looking for opinions.

I'm 194cm (6"4), 185lbs so ideally should be skiing a pretty long ski. Ski mainly park, but hopefully doing a season in Whistler next year so ideally wanted some wider underfoot skis.

Choices

S3s in 178cm for £175
S7s in 188cm for £262.50
Super7s in 188cm for £299

Basically, I would prefer the S3s due to the price, but I'm just wondering if they're FAR too short for me.

Will the S7s be that different on piste / in park?

178cm S3's are way too short for you. With the rockered tip and tails combining with the softer flex of tips and tails, it will make them ski incredibly short for your size.

Even the 186cm S3's ski very short for someone your size. I am 6'2" and 190 lbs or so and I thought the 186cm S3's were fun, but way too soft and short for my liking.

Aye cheers, thats what I thought.

Will probably leave them, pity as they're such a bargain.

S3 is way too short and S(uper)7 will probably suck in the park. I'd recommend checking out the 189 cm K2 Kung Fujas. It's long enough for you and can handle park and pow.

Yeh, will keep an eye out for the Kung Fujas, but this was more a spur of the moment thing as the Rossis were 1/2 price. If I can find a cheap pair of the KFs I'll pick them up.
