Suing the Boston Globe

So in the front page of the Arts/ Entertainment page in the Boston Globe they did a pretty big article on my dad/ his film and they used a picture I took without giving me any credit. So im gona call up and sue them for like 100 bucks so I can buy my new lens. What do you think?

i think civil cases need to be in excess of $10,000. and you'd be a fag if you sued them over that. just tell them to give you credit.

I guess, I dont really care that much, I got credit in Entertainment Weekly and Ophra Magizine and some other shit. I just need money really bad. ^^Dad's movie is Bright Leaves, just premiered. www.brightleaves.com. Tell your paretns to rent it at Blockbuster so I'll have more money to go skiing.

100$ wouldnt be worth it. Unless you represent yourself, the lawyer would cost more than that. But you probably wouldnt need a lawyer... but your also a kid. too many factors=not worth it

Oprah magazine, that's some huge circulation on your work... But it's still Oprrah magazine. I think the bigger question here is, how did they get your picture, as stated before.

yup just tell them to give u credits next week or the next day on the front in a footnote or something, and ask for money if u want to

good luck paying for a lawyer so you can (possibly, unlikelylely) weasel $100 out of the globe. by the time it's done you'll be a few thousand in debt but at least you'll get your $100 and photo credit. right?
