Down-sizing in bsl question
So I purchased a new pair of boots and I have gone down in size from a 28.5 to a 27.5. I currently have a pair of fks 14s mounted on my skis that are set for 28.5. My question is whether or not the bindings can be adjusted to fit the smaller boots, or will I have to get the bindings remounted?
pretty sure you can adjust them about one size. i'd google how to do it.
go to a shop and ask, im pretty sure you can do it for such a small difference. but im not 100%
Pretty sure your logic is airtight, just like Max Hill's jeans.
dont tell me i look like edollo, he looks like me.
depends on where your mounted at now on the wormscrew track. With FKS you'll most likely need a remount, but you might get lucky
"I hate when people mistake park rats for skiers."
"my parents got my report card yesterday and now i cant use my new skis and they are taking away everything (ski related) they bought for me."
ON3P. Do it.
Yeah unfortunatly FKS have less adjustment then most bindings as they dont have a track. If your bindings were mounted perfectly first time, you will prob need a remount, but you could possibly just move the heel or the toe piece.
i might have the same problem, just went from a 316bsl to a 305bsl, i have fks 15s
If the shop mounted the FKSs in the middle of the track, you should be fine with a 9-11mm adjustment. If the heel is already back or forward, it will cause problems for one of the ways you can go.
