However, Fringe, Simpsons, family guy, south park, Deathnote ( anime but anyone can like that fucking genious piece of seriies), big bang theory, archer, how i met your mother, two and a half men,

thats whats on top of my mind, but there are other extremely great ones.

generation kill - not a tv show, but it was a mini-series like the wire, but much much shorter and deals with the invasion of the second iraq war.
