wear a helmet, and crash pads, they have saved my day numerous times.
you should test your speed by using the jump as a texas kicker and figuring out what speed will get you over the kink but not too far, just land next to the rail.
when your ready, commit, and get aggressive when you make contact with the rail, suck it in to your feet and grease through it, i stick to landing switch to avoid sit legs.
