there are two guys at springs who were assigned to an "undercover" patroller position, but they stick out like a sore thumb in their all black karbon suits and all it does is give them a sense of entitlement to do whatever the fuck they want and treat the most loyal customers (the regular park skiers) like trash.
it's mostly just singling out the regular park skiing season pass holders in the lift line. I get checked every run when these guys are working along with any of my friends regardless of how many times I have been checked by the same patroller prior. They will completely forget whatever they are doing to go out of their way to inconvenience us in particular. The worst is when they make you take off your balaclava and goggles while checking your pass EVERY run. Do they think that in the 45 seconds it takes to ski top to bottom that I exchanged my entire suit with someone else and let them use my pass?
fortunately I have come up with a counter strike. every time I get singled out, I check every pocket on my entire body before "finding" my pass. When i get checked a couple times in a row, the patroller usually asks how I manage to forget where my pass is if i have to get it out every run, to which I ask, how do you forget that I have a pass when you check me every run.
