Painting my POC Receptor BUG?

So,

I have an orange POC Receptor Bug, and i'm really tired of the orange and would love it to be black. I don't feel like selling mine and then buying a new afterwards. Has anyone dyed/painted their helmet before? If so can you post up results, etc.

Any tips?
Different Method?

Don't do it. The last thing you wanna fuck with is your helmet, and paint can supposedly fuck with the shells integrity.

Either get a new one or ignore the colour, cause you don't wanna cheap out on your brain bucket yo.

completely cove it with stickers. I did this with one of my old helmets that was blue and i just covered the entire helmet with black Sunday River stickers.

I just airbrushed a friends helmet from park city, I can't post pics but if you send me your cell# I'll be more then happy to text them to you.. I wouldnt go painting it if your not good with paint, it will just end up flaking/chipping off. On my friends helmet, if it gets scratched up it could be buffed out, or really scratched up I can wet sand the clear(not breaking thru the clear) I can just re-clear coat it again and it's back to new.
