yeah i did em alot on tramps first. then this summer i was lucky enough to try it on water ramps before taking it to the snow. landed first try no problem, as long as you practise the motion on a tramp and do that after popping you'l be fine

backflips are too scary to commit to, the first inverts I learned were frontflips, lincolns and rodeo 5s/underflips (not really sure which one I was actually throwing)

i've never tried throwing a backflip, but I dont really wana learn them anyways... id much rather learn mistys, rodeos or lincons cause u can use them in comps and you wont get as fucked up if you dont commit

I just learned them yesterday...they are pretty damn easy, I have to say...I landed the first one so smoothly like I never left the ground. then I fucked my shin up on a 7 haha, backs are easier than 180s (I'm not joking)

my friend said he did at some jump he made....and i kinda believed him...until i saw that the jump was a little above my waist and no hill...they are probably easier to do off giant kickers rather than off the ground

back flips freak me out, its coz i cant see the landing at first, i dont mind not seein the landing later, but i want to be able to see the landing at first, i dont no why, but not seein the landing till very late and at the start doesnt scare me at all, other things do, im hoping to get over this soon though

backflips are about a balance of commitment and over rotation. anyhow, they kickass when pulled with steeze. how come the entire ski community has forgotten bout fakie backs. with a monkeyed-out safety they could be the coolest things ever.

A backflip is the only thing I've ever thrown on skis before... only thing that requires some skill, that is. It was actually a backflip backcross, so it looked pretty sick on film.

backs are way easy. Just try a few off a diving board, move to a tramp, and then to powder. Never try a new invert on an icy table, that's just stupid. I honestly believe they are easier than 360's, but you have to get the feeling of them down, like pulling in your knees if you're rotating too slow, letting out if you hucked, etc. Dont just huck, though, cause that looks gay.

i dunno why, but i think backflips are steezy as fuck....theres somthing about long drawn out backs that is so sick....go watch the coker video on lineskis.com and you'll see what i mean

doing one a tramp is cake, its a lil tougher with 50 pounds of gear, but if my fat 180lb ass with lead racing boots, titanium skis and full pack can do them, any of you skrawney weiner dogs should be able to as well. You gotta commit, dont be a chicken shit. fuckin slam a beer and huck that shit.

i can do backflips.. its pretty damn easy if you learn it. i landed on my neck the first time, but i had som pow in the landing so it went ok.. i tried once more, an nailed it. i aint got the balls to try on a funbox tho...

yes, yes i can do a backflip, and they're super. such a natural feeling... it just flows. and you have all day to spot your landing. the most fun, though, is hucking backflips off cliffs into water and shit. good fun.

backflips are one of the easiest, but scariest rotations at first. once you've tossed the first one though, you'll realize there's nothing to be scared of. it just floats around, they are so nice. and so easy to spot the landing. i love backflips

^ yeah that's the way it is with everything man. i was more chicken of doing urban handrails for the first time than hucking a backflip though. but once you get that first time over with, you've got your confidence, and you know it can be done!

i had never tried a back flip or a front flip until last summer i did my first front off a diving board and frmo then on it just became easier and easier and once u try a backflip it gets supper easy just gotta keep practicing

i can do them on tramps with amjor steeze..like really slow and torque your body wierd..it looks sweet so ive heard.

i wanna do them on skis..it sounds super easy, like really all you gotta do is lean back hard..

i think it would be coool to go switch off the jump and do a frontflip, so like your spinning under your body. anyone know what thats called? cause that would be saweet.

backflips are sooo easy but I wouldn't go out and try one, make sure you can do them on a tramp first, or go learn them on a water ramp

i cant do it, never tried but i know people who can do a backflip but cantr do a 360 so though i think they're sick, i do agree with some of the people they take less skill than a 360.

i can do backs, but they weren't the first invert i learned. i learned fronts first, on skis anyways. i can do them on the ground and off of tall shit in my shoes. that kinda helped. if anyone wants to learn how to get over a mental block, email me at evelevskier@yahoo.com and i might be able to teach you or at least give you some tips. i taught my little bro, a lot of my friends, and even my mom how to do them on the tramp.
