Going for my G1 on the 23rd and I was wondering if it was hard? Do you have to make an appointment or can you just walk in? And how much does it cost (in Canada)

It's easy, and if you fail, you pay ten bucks and you do it again... and you can continue to pay until you finally get it. You don't need an appointment, you just walk into the centre and pay 100 bucks, which covers your G2 road test as well.
Crazy, I thought only the military would make up wierd ass alphanumeric codes to describe mundane activities. Canada...
