yea, so i'm a paper boy, or have been one for a couple weeks, and this asshole keeps complaining that i don't deliever his paper, which i have been every day. he says it's not porched cuz it's like 6 inches from his porch.

so none the less, i get a complaint saying he got a wet paper from his sprinklers. this cost me $5, which is 500 fucking papers worth of cash. so the next day i had to deliever his paper.

well i ate asapargus that night, and ironically had to pee right there. needless to say that man got more then a wet paper that morning.
Anyone want me to deliever their Denver Piss...i mean...Post?

slickjamesfaggotass, most paper boys are guys who drive trucks with one person in the bed and one person driving, little kids can't get up in the morings and deliver tons of papers, maybee you live in the middle of fuck ass nowhere. But in any city, no little boys deliver the paper you fucking retard.

no i think that shit was a typo, for every complaint it's like 50 paper's worth...and yes, isn't that a rediculous price. (i aint no mexican, if it aint double digits on the hourly wage, i go home.)

i went into work today, expecting there to be a complaint about the piss, not a fucking word man. i was a little disappointed.

but since i put in my 2 weeks, they had some people there for me to train. so i'm all telling them, 'alright so for these 4 hours you jsut worked, you get $8.' they shit their pants, they're like, 'what the fuck is that shit, it's not even worth my gas'.......i can't believe they even have that as a job, i'm going to tell everyone whom i have to train how shitty the pay is and hopefully no one accepts the job so i just get paid to tell people how to do it for a couple weeks....we'll see how that goes, i've been talking so much shit to my boss for lying to me about the pay...i can't believe that fucker did that.

however, today i didn't piss in anyone's paper. maybe tomorrow someone will piss me off. i'm really interested in taking a shit in somenes paper, that could be a new low for me.

i had a paper rute when i was like 12... and i was real good at it and everyone loved me and it taught me responcibility and shit.... and then i went away to camp for a week, and got my mom to cover for me while i was gone... and she fucking quit. so i got home and had no job. it sucked.

oh and if i wanted to be like everyone else, i would've done the same shit my sister did and i would be a harvard graduate going to CU law school. yea i am really worried about cash.

yea i work for a major clothing line, and i make MIN. WAGE, and its such bitch work and it sucks alot of the time, but hey i am jealous of you you get to make money and have soo much time to have another job, like doing the paper route is in the morning so you have the whole day ahead of you to, like SKI. fuck i have 20 year old friends who work at gas stations and every1 is like eww... well he makes good money and hes doing what he loves, people are soo stereotypical

that's actually i job i wanted to get, that would've been perfect for my winter hours. kick it at the gas station all night, wake up ski all day, sleep, go back to my gas hole, ski. however i get paid $3 extra dollars at this other job, so it was worth it, plus insurace and benefits for only 24 hrs a week (if i wanna cut back hrs during the prime ski time).

hahaha, thanks for the ego check bro. But again I was under the assumption that he was in his mid to late 20s, as I once had the imprssion from previous conversations in the distant past when I was a regular.

As for 18-20 who have accomplished more, yes there are ... but I do have so I've done quite a bit already ;), but for the sake of sparing you another ego trip ... I will not divulge.

yeah complaints piss me off when i had a paper route back in the day some guy claimed i gave him a wet paper and i remeber that day it was sunny and 85 and not a cloud in the sky. SO it had to be his sprinklers which i don't control so i went to his door and was polite and asked if i could do anything to make the service better and for him to clarify the complaint he totally had no balls and lied and said that his wife made the complaint and that he had no idea. even though it had his name on the complant i got.

delivering papers in a major city or for a major paper can make BANK..my neighbor is 52, and the circulation manager for the Rutland Herald. He delivers papers before work and makes about an extra 200 a week for 10 hrs work..so what if hes 20 and delivers papers? it seems like a good 2nd job, doesnt take much time in the am, theres no SKILL involved, and you do get tips

Usually younger kids are paperboys for shitty small papers. They are definitly the minority. Adults do most of the paper routes because they can handle more papers and get up early every morning.

also to be a paper boy around my town you have to be able to drive, which means you have to be at least 17, probably 18 because 17 is provisional license.
