Kendama and other cool things like it?

So I have a $50 amazon gift card and I want to get some good bang for my buck.  I was thinking about getting a kendama and possibly another cool toy or item that's in the same category of 'cheap fun shit'.

Can anyone link me a good kendama on amazon?  What should I look for in one, or are they all pretty much the same?

Help me entertain myself!

I've actually owned that exact helicopter.  That's a ton of fun right there.  Very intricate considering the price.

Eh, I don't really care. The dimensions are the same, it just weights 5 ounces instead of 4.8. I won't be competing so I'm perfectly happy with the one I bought.

I showed it to my Mom, and she liked it so much that she had me order her one!

I never thought I could have so much fun with something that I am horrible at. I am getting better though, and I am happy knowing that I have just scratched the surface of playing with my kendama.

Does anyone have some good tutorial videos? Most of the ones I find on youtube are made by 13 year olds who are horrible instructors. "So I'm gonna teach you to land on the spike. Hold the kendama, bring the ball up, and catch it on the spike." ... I need something a little more in-depth than that!

The only reason someone would play kandema is because they can't get their wood in any hole other than a little wooden ball.

$50 should buy plenty of condoms if you wanna put your wood in other holes though.

Man, I wish I saw this a month ago.  I would definitely trade the tapestry I bought for an awesome blowgun like that.

My Mom is an Amazon fiend, so I'll plan on getting a blowgun with the gift card next Christmas.

They're way too fun, and they're really cheap too.

I made the mistake of taking mine outside though. I should have known better, because even a ceiling fan messed the flight up on my indoor runs. Just a tiny breeze and the poor little chopper got stuck in a tree. It fell out later that day, and for whatever reason, it wouldn't work anymore.
