Ski Date

I have not actually dated a girl in a while. I have had girlfriends but we never went anywhere outside my bedroom. This chick invited me to ski with her today and we called it a date. A ski date, where you shred together, eat lunch, and pretty much flirt on snow. It was pretty fun, but weird at the same time. Something I wont do again. Anyone else had a ski date before?

I've had 2 ski dates. Both very different bog awesome First back in high school, a girl I was hooking up with. We were bored, wanted a fun date so went night skiing. This girl could fucking rip! Skied for a while, conditions sucked, ended up in her car etc etc. was a fucking awesome night Second. Took my girlfriend to ski last year. First time ever on snow. Taught her, we had a great time. It's fun to teach skiing and share what you love. My girl and skiing, wha could be better! Plus... You win mad brownie points!

this completely, the only girls i enjoy skiing with are a few of my friends back home that can keep up with me. most of them don't do park but if i go in they'll follow me and even 50/50 a few boxes, but a few of them (all snowboarders, i don't really mind) actually shred park and aren't half bad.

while the skier chicks who wear xl saga and really bright colors but sit in the park all day and giggle are hot and provide for a good audience, they're annoying as fuck.

i respect any girl who goes in the park with any intention of hitting something. even if she can't 2 out, if shes straight ski sliding rails and boxes, and trying at least, then she's gold in my opinion.

well take notes here boys: getting a skiing girlfriend is step one to getting a skiing wife, and getting a wife that thinks skiing is cool is dam important when looking at the rest of your life. i'm 37 in in 2 weeks and have a nice skiing wife (and kids) so its like a skiing family. So planing the holiday is always about skiing... smart :) Some years ago we had some money left and the wife agreed on getting a cabin in the mountains... smart :) we are going to spend the next 8 days just skiing. (thanks Nina, I love you)

cuuute. i think skiing dates are awesome if you both are decent shredders. its fun switch racing and sometimes just laying there for no reason (not in park, off to the side). i havent went with a guy who skis yet.. only guys who board. id imagine runs would be much quicker.

I've had a ski date, it was fun, spent the time doing stupid stuff trying to show off. Carving switch like a thug, throwing up gang signs. Just keeping it real gangst for my girl.

haha thank you, and the girls who sit in the park, or just ski straight through it drive me crazy..they just want attention from the park boys. and i've never really been with someone who skied..weird i know, but i think it would be awesome to go on a date with someone and doing what i love the most..and trying to impress them ofcourse :)

Its all about having a girl for the slopes and a girl for the city.

My girlfriend and I's first date was a "ski date." Granted she snowboards, but same thing right? That was nearly 6 years ago now. Last winter I proposed at a local mountain and now we plan on having a ski/snow related wedding this winter.

Ski dates should be the only dates a true skier has! The rest is just sport...

Like almost everyone else said, i would love ski dates if i didn't have to wait so long, standing there looking up hill watching her pizza down the hill barely making turns makes me want to hit myself repeatedly with a ski pole.

Took a girl to the mtns for the weekend a couple seasons ago. She told me she was a decent snowboarder..... not so much. First day I played the good guy and waited, offered advice since I used to be a boarder, etc. She constantly gave me the "if you wanna take off and do your thing that's fine" line which I always said 'no no, im having fun with you' blah blah..... fast forward to Sunday when she started flopping/falling and said the same thing, at which point I just caved and it was 'welp... see ya later'

That was the last of that.
