interested as well. had the dynastar nothing but trouble, and loved them except for them being a bit stiff for my preference. also kind of heavy and i wanted a fatter ski (its only 78mm at the waist), which is why i got a new pair of skis. but they shredded and are extremely durable. i know the distorters are fatter (87mm at waist) but it would be nice to know about the weight and flex.
i had the 09/10 ones and I thought they held up pretty well. They were actually quite flexy, and considering the abuse that they took also very durable. I now have the new chronics and I can honestly say that the distorters felt quite a bit lighter. I also believe that they have a smaller underfoot than the chronics. hope this helps...
Same exact thing happened to me once when I tried to put two gallon containers of milk into the fridge at the same time. Projectile vomit everywhere the minute I lifted them off the counter...- El.Gato

I have mine mounted dead center and i love them so much. more pop in this ski than in any other ski I've had, including invaders. they are not incredibly light but they are not heavy either, the tips and tails are real buttery due to the spring blade technology they have in them+ the rocker. underfoot they are stiff enough to stomp big jumps and carve a decent turn. fully recommend
There once was a goon from nantucket,
Who tossed a cork 9, and he stuck it.
He saw the rep from line,
who said it looked almost divine,
But then told him to try not to huck it.
