I got a t3i for christmas and have been trying to learn the in's and outs of the camera. I have some of the stuff down pretty well, however I'm having problems with lighting/exposure and film grain.
I've been shooting on the "creative" modes on the camera since I know what everything does now. The problem is that I can never get the photo's to be well lit without bumping up the ISO speed. Even with an open f stop and somewhat slow shutter speed. I've been shooting the basketball games at school so I can't go too low on the shutter speed or else it will be blurred.
Setting from when I shot the photo's
Shutter speed priority mode, most of the time it set the f.stop at around 5.6
Shutter speed 1/250 - 1/400
ISO speed at 1600-3200 in some shots
Any and all help is appreciated!
