Loony Mountain

So I'm headed up to Loon Mountain, NH this weekend for my first time.  I'm super pumped that its a holiday weekend because I really want to stand in long lift lines, but other then that I'm curious what they'll have to offer considering the winter mother nature has offered the east coast thus far.

I checked their website out and it looks like they have some pretty fun features set up thus far. Has anyone been up there this year? Is the set up at least semi-fun?  What about the mountain as a whole....any good all mountain terrain to ride? I'll be up there with ma lady friend and a few others so I'm not picking this weekend to really take full advantage of lapping the park this early in the season. I'm just looking to have a fun day up there.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Loon in general is an awesome mountain. It's hard not to have a good time.

I was up there today and the past few...its super fun right now although we got down pours all last night making today real slushy...plus its getting super cold tonight we it may be real shitty as far as ice goes and what not but the park is definitely fun...they have like 3 areas of features with another one they are working on it looked like today...in the first one they have a small flat rail about 10 feet then a down box or a barrel tap then a jump (about 15 feet) and a C rail. They have another park right under the gondola which is a four line...flat box, down rail single barrel, single barrel DFD and up rail/pole jam type thing...then they have a hike park type thing with a large snow QP drop in and either a down flat/up box or dfd rail...def fun but its a fucking BUZZARD JAM up there holy shit

loon is really fun right now... lots of stuff thats fun to hike. might be icy cause of the rain but it should be fun none the less!

was up there today acually...honestly the lines werent bad at all 3mins tops. conditions were amazing considering it rained last night. calling for snow tommorow and friday so that'll be good...possibly see you there haha
