hey guys, so first off, I do not have toe bang. the problem i'm having is when i lean back to ollie or land backseat, my toenail get shoved into the top of my boot causing my toenail to go black. Its ok, I experience moderate pain just in my toenail, but I was wondering if anyone has ever put some sort of padding right above the toebox to kind of ease this pain. I was thinking about cutting up a stomp pad and putting it up there but I was looking for more input.
This problem is 95% most likely footbed related sine without one, your foot is free to move and slide around in the boot. Replace the standard insoles with a supportive footbed that locks your foot in place and issue solved.
Definitely not. Any gel insert is about the worst thing you could put under your foot as it allows your foot to move and twist. Your foot requires structure and support, which are given by brands like Aline, Sidas, Superfeet, Sole, etc. Which one is right for you? Only your local fitter is properly able to answer that since he needs to assess your foot and ankle structure.
fuck all that footbed shit, welcome to the club man. i have had 4 toenails fall off, and i dont even land backseat that much. in fact both my big toenails are off right now, seems as if those are off nowadays more then they are on.
