I Got this and it is a bit too big for me. 9.5/10 condition used less than 10 times,
starting price is 280 plus shipping.

that is an opinion...

my point and the point theclap is trying to make is that this jacket can be found online brand new for 230 and the seller is STARTING it at 280, used. This website is not about buying rare coats, using them and then flipping them to make money, it is about hooking fellow skiers up (that possibly/probably are low on cash) with gear that they will use because they didn't buy a coat that was too big for them...

My suggestion to the OP would be to try and trade it for a smaller size if he likes the coat or start the bidding at a reasonable price and it gets what it gets to...seems more reasonable to me

but you sir are wrong, the point in anything is to try and turn a profit. who doesnt like to make money, honestly? and why would you start something off at 50 dollars and work up, when since bargaining began, you start high and meet somewhere in the middle. making money is what people want. plain and simple.

^He is not disputing the fact that people like to make money, but he is saying that this probably isn't the place to do it. Everyone here is pretty much a community of people with the same interests and to try to make money off of them is a little lowball.

Also you act like everyone starts high and works down and that's how the world works, but if that were the case eBay would have never gotten off the ground. The best way to decide what something is worth is to start low and see how many people are interested.

^ but thats also only true in some cases. like an auction for example, you could make 10,000 more than you hoped on a car or 5,000 less. you dont know the market. but here on NS, we know the market, we know what people will pay and what people trendwhore over. so why not start high?

because its what e dollo used to wear the only reason he did is cause he got suckered in on the magic suit and g suit year and had to stay with them until now now solomon has no good pro riders in the outerwear department and the jacket wasnt that styleish anyway e dollo just made it look like that caue hes alot better than anyone and its not like its signed by tom wallisch b dog simon dumont tanner hall and e dollo himself than it might be worth my two seconds i spent during this  and who cares if it cant be found there are lots of jackets u could get for 280 new that are better for example all of the ldc jackets in this years line and all of the saga jackets in this years like and last but not least last years b dog jacket which is still fs in many places including on here
