I'm looking for a new pair of park skis to add to my quiver. I still have a pair of Line Chronics (08/09) that I used in the park and on groomers here in France. But I used them a lot so I don't know how much longer they'll last and I'd like to change to an even more park oriented, buttery ski.
I'm a expert skier, my weight and height are 70kg (154lbs), 178 cm (5ft 3in). What I want is a soft park ski to use on jumps, rails and some jibbing when doing groomers and preferably light weight. It would also be nice if they could hold an edge fairly well on groomers.
In my local skishop I looked at the following skis:
Movement El Locco's
Atomic Punx
Rossignol Scratch
I've read some ski tests and reviews in magazines/internet and it seems the Punx would be fine for me, although they dont seem to be very stable at high speeds. (which concerns me a bit)
So does anyone have some expierence with one of these skis (durability, behaviour in the park and on groomers, ...)? Would you recommend an other ski?
Thanks
