Whats wrong with mogul skiing?...some peeps have been giving me the biggest crap ever for moguls..i dont get it..i ski bumps but i also jib..but why is it so bad?

mogul lick balls because they aren't going anywhere. If you like skiing moguls than ski moguls, but I'm tellin you right now that if you want to compete and make a short career out of it, it's not a smart idea. If I were to go into all the reasons why it sucks you'd be reading for days.

yeah im down with what the detective sayin...they arnt really gonin anywhere...and plus its not that exciting watching the moguls...only the jumps are cool...and moguls wreck the fuck outta ure knees..

i'm still skiin the moguls up...still competing, i like doing both moguls and freeride
i just don't take moguls seriously like a lot of the people i ski against...there all getting scared and shaking and they just get too competitive, it's just for fun, that's why i do moguls, they're so fucking fun...so is freeride...

and i didn't accomplish anything by saying any of that....wow....i'm retarded

so what if moguls wont make you any money??? Like I said than don't compete cuz you'll be throwin a good 20 grand a year into it and get nothing back. ski them cuz it is fun, but don't compete if don't have that kind of money to throw around.

the only reason people would bash moguls is if they suck at them....in fact...the only reason people bash most stuff if becuase they either suck, or they're jealous of you for being able to do stuff....whatever..ski for yourself, and dont listen to the people who make fun of you

i ski the bumps to make myself a better skier overall...not to compete. I'd probably rather compete in a carving groomer comp. (if it existed) to tell you the truth!! I ride bumps for fun and technique.

Lifejacket may be right about the europeans being trained for from birth (which is obvious, if you watch it you'll notice that the europeans have better technique in the bumps) but in the air this whole newschool movement is changing things (thanks to mosely) and skiers on the amateur circuits like me are throwing down way cooler tricks than the european olympians. All the europeans can do a 360 mute grab now, but they have no idea what a japan or a toxic is, and god forbid they do a 720. CORKED? what the fuck!?

Julien is more canadian than anything. and mogul skiing itself doesn't suck but if anyone asks me if moguls suck, I'll agree. I don't suck at moguls. so that lil idea is gay.

moguls. it was the best thing at the olyimpics. johnny's dinnerrole was money. that huge guys stalled out 360 was just silly, and his 360 mute was wacky when he messed his knee.

Yeah, Evan Dybvig messed up his knee pretty good. I would say moguls was the 2nd best event. The snowboard halfpipe was easily the best.

not to mention Ross Power's freakin 20+ foot booster! I remember seeing him up in the air, but the halfpipe wasn't even close to in the picture all the way zoomed out...that was nuts
