Well Hello, after I went to the bars and hung out with some friends, here I am posting on NS. great way to end the night.I had the most delicious beer I could ever imagine today and ill let you know the name of it when i become more sober.

Not even close to the same thing. He wasn't doing anything illegal, he was underage and not drinking. In MN they let them in all the time, they just don't serve them. I guess they would rather have one of us drive drunk than let an underage dd in.

What I was saying in the other thread was everyone knows marijuana is illegal, so if you're going to smoke you know full well you could get caught. If you're choosing to take that risk, there is no reason to get butthurt if you get caught. No matter how stupid the law is, it's still a law.

So it would be ok if police set up roadblocks and did a sobriety test for everybody on the road after mindnight because its a law not to drink and drive?? Or if police decided to search everyone's homes for illegal weapons? That'd be cool too because certain weapons are illegal? Or on the 4th of July police should set up roadblocks for illegal firworks and bust everybody's good time? Or during a St. Patricks Day parade cops should go around and see what's in everybody's solo cups because drinking on the street is illegal?? Cause these are all laws people break..

No. That would just be a police state. So cops searching cars on the way to a ski hill like they're about to meet the president is ridiculous.

Ari Shaffir said it the best, something along the lines of: Alcoholics, don't get arrogant because your DRUG of choice is legal.

Jesus dude, you're taking this way too far. All I ever said was if you do something illegal, there is a chance you're going to get caught. If someone decides to do it anyways, they better be able to deal with the consequences.

Using a bunch of hypothetical situations is a horrible argument anyways
