Back in April/May, Evolve Chile and Armada skis threw an awesome contest that included a free session at Evolve Chile (in Chile) and a pair of Armada T-Hall skis. I was the winner of that contest, and I've spent the last week skiing at Valle Nevado in Chile. It's been the sickest time, and I'd argue that Evolve is definitely the best Summer Camp out there.
I spent every day skiing with KC Deane and Alex Bellamare, plus some awesome snowboarding pros too. Unlike what I've heard and seen at other camps, these guys literally spent the ENTIRE time skiing with us. They were always there to teach us stuff and never took their own laps like pros tend to do at other camps.
Plus, we've had the most ridiculous snow and terrain compared to any other camp. The first two days were filled with bluebird skies and perfectly packed and groomed snow with some decent powder leftover from a previous storm. Then, on day 3, we woke up to 14 inches of fresh snow and shredded some of the nicest blower powder I've ever skied in my life. We even got 3rd chair on a lift servicing the best terrain where we caught fresh tracks for the next 5 runs. We've been building jumps, dropping cliffs and cornices, and taking wide, spraying turns in powder.
If you're looking for a camp where you'll have an AWESOME time with really legit skiing, you could never go wrong with Evolve Chile. Definitely check it out. I would favor it over any other summer camp in a heartbeat.
