Pussy Pro Skiers

There is this pro skier sponsored by line and sessions who showed up at my homemountian in AK and skied for a few weekends. There were tons of jumps and me and my buddies were hucking all day and this guy never even hit one jump. we asked him why and he said he didnt want to. this pissed me off, just because hes sponsored and super good he wont hit any jumps at my mountain, i think hes a total pussy and should never ride my mountain again.

Yes but most of the jumps at my mountain are rutted out, tiny, and have chopped up crud for landings (especially 6 years ago when Tim posted this). They are a little better now, but still. I never spin past 5 at the resort just because it's so sketch.

If you are sent to Alaska as a pro, you are supposed to throw down on the big lines in front of the cameras, not go fuck yourself up and ruin the trip on some tiny ass jump. That would be just plain irresponsible.

So pussyfooter brought this thread to my attention, and this guy that was skiing around was not kris ostness!! I am a hundred percent sure of that, this guy was a substitute teacher who moved to anchorage from the lower 48, haha he was actually pretty cool and helped coach at the summer camp, but this thread does show my ignorance at the age of 16!
