I have the lifter plates on my PX 12's, and one of the plates is cracked, so I've decided to do something that I've wanted to do for a long time, that is, getting rid of the lifter plates. The problem I will have with that, is the screws will be too long. I'm thinking about grinding them down precisely with a bench grinder.
Does anyone have any experience doing this? Should I do it, or should I try to pick up screws for the non-lifted PX 12's?
My tall tee has more stretch marks than Octomom. That's how G I am.
