i'm pretty sure the movies came first. Plus, they are based out of Whistler, which requires helmets for their big park. Makes me think they started making helmets so that if they were forced to wear a helmet, it was one that didn't necessarily look like a typical helmet.

Well there actually not a single helmet in the video. Kinda makes u wonder :D. I got sandbox helmet though love it.
