Yeah, so I have used sony vegas and adobe for most of my editing, and I just purchased a Mac. I don't like Final Cut Pro for many reasons, and I was looking to get Adobe CS5 but they just bullshitted everyone and put CS5.5 on preorder. There isn't a trial for five, and I was wondering if there were any other decent editing programs available for Macs besides these two? +K for good answers. OH and Keygen-ing is my preference in ways to obtain them, thanks.
FCP is not nearly as complex as it looks, import some footage and just fuck around with it and youll learn more in 5 minutes than you seem to think you would in a day. screw around with things and learn stuff and then take specific questions to the internet or people..it's a great program and makes a lot of sense, dont be intimidated by it
but if you insist on not using FCP, you can go for avid, it's on macs too i guess. though if FCP intimidates you..
Adobe Premiere CS5 isn't too bad when paired with After Effects or something. But seriously though, if you've got a Mac get learning on Final Cut - FCP 7 is pretty amazing if you know your way around a little.
If you want to stick with premiere cs5 on a mac (which I've got nothing against, I recently went mac and stayed with the adobe suite) then I'd say look into torrents to the trial download of cs5. They're easy enough to find I believe.
