suck it up. it's all about supply in demand. they're appealing to the customers that didn't want the hoodie bad enough to pay 25 dollar shipping for it. now they have the supply but not the same demand upon initial release. you wanted the hoodie, you paid the price.

The 10 dollar shipping is a current promotion, why would they give you credit when they're obviously trying to move the rest of the hoodies by reducing the shipping price? you kids know nothing about the real world.

This promotion is something we thought we'd try to clear out a few more pieces of this sweet collab piece. We are not trying to screw anyone here, actually the only people we are screwing are ourselves since the shipping is still costing just as much as before, we are just paying the difference out of our own store account.

Sales and promotions come and go in every store, and you obviously can't always luck out and get every single one of them.

Now if you are still uber pissed at us and think we are a scheming evil corporation trying to take your money, and not Newschoolers trying to hook up a few people in the community, then feel free to email store@newschoolers.com your order info and we will refund you the difference.

We just want to see each and every one of these kick ass hoodies on the backs of our members and not sitting on our shelves.

you obviously know nothing about ethics in business. you realize that in the promotion, newschoolers has to pay the difference in the shipping? as in, while you pay 10, they're going to pay the other 15. shipping, cumulatively, does not change. it's a promotion to liquidate the inventory they have left, not to cheat the people out of money. there's a breakeven point at which if they don't sell enough hoodies in this promotion, they won't be generating enough revenue to cover the difference in shipping they're forced to pay. before you go complaining about ethics, get your shit straight.

im a business major, fucking try me. its not costing them $25 to ship it. its like a pound and a half in a bag. they shouldn't have a promotion to try to get rid of them 2 weeks after they first got them the store. and any extra shipping ns has to pay is instantly covered when they sell it. theres no "breakeven point"

how is it not still costing them $25 to ship? shipping to the US from Canada is fucking absurd no matter what or where you buy. if you don't like it, don't buy the hoodie. why would they be having a promotion if they weren't trying to liquidate inventory? it doesn't matter if they "should" or not. it's at their discretion to do so, if you don't like it then so be it. and if you think about it, there has to be a point in sales dollars where selling a certain amount of hoodies with $10 shipping is worthwhile. otherwise, they wouldn't do it.

where are you a business major, might i ask?

ive sent a bunch of shit to canada numerous times, a buch of hoodies just about the same size and weight, and its never been that much money. it was an envelope with it stuffed in. i didn't like it, but i chose to support newschools anyway.

yet again, i understand they are trying to get rid of them by lowering the price of shipping, you keep saying it like i dont get it. its just fucked up they did it so quickly.

and i go to fort lewis. they have a great business department. really good skiing too. but im transferring so i can (maybe) do a double major that they dont offer.

you didn't seem to grasp the concept, as you saw it as unethical behavior.
just because you think it's fucked up doesn't make it "unethical" like you claimed it to be. be careful how you throw words around like that. it's merely business, just because they're a skiing website, that doesn't make their store any different from any other online store. they're looking to post a profit, and they can do whatever they please to ensure they do so, as long as it coincides with legal and ethical standards.

i've never heard of fort lewis, not saying that it's a bad school. i study at Bentley University, so please don't call me out like i don't know my stuff (they toss us into fairly difficult business concepts the day we step foot on campus).

what i think you're missing is that newschoolers is fronting the $15 left to pay shipping out of either a cash balance or a decrease in marginal profit per sweater sold.

fair enough. i guess thats just my general newschools response because im used to dealing with 14 year olds who think they know way more then me.

what i think your missing is that it doesn't actually cost $25 to ship a hoodie from quebeck to colorado. $10 is closer to where it should have been all along. and if their charging $10 two weeks into the sale, it cant be cutting their profit by that much, or they would wait longer.

but shipping from canada to the US is absurd, regardless of what you buy (generally). i almost bought something off D-structure when i realized shipping was something like $35. i guess it's dependent on the carrier. If what you say is true, then it's certainly unethical for newschooler's to pull a profit for a service that is essentially unrelated to the goals of their business. They do literally nothing to ship hoodies, other than package them and carry them to the post office. if packaging and "labor" cost $15, that's BS. but then again, i don't really know what the transactions are like.

You are retarded. Shipping to US from Canada costs more than US to Canada. It cost me almost $30 to ship a hoodie to CT. The hoodie was packing in the smallest package I could get. So stop bitching.
