it was a higher framerate (probably 60fps) that never dropped frames or was conformed slower. a lot of video is 30fps. movies and things are 24 fps. thats why it looked so weird.


additionally, bobby has the most flawless style. every grab is perfect. and that nose drop 5 on the rainbow was sweet.

yeah. theres looks even worse because im fairly sure they still shoot some of their movie on actual film. so you have 24 fps film and 60p digital video mixed.

im sorry but doing side hit tranny finders and nose taps doesnt make you any less of a robot jump jock. dumont tried the same thing and made a fool out of himself. stick with heli shoots and triple wack flips.

really? i agree that it was a little more mellow than i would have liked to see from bobby, but i thought the jibby stuff that he was doing was real stylie, and looked really good. I am bored stiff by any and all rail tricks, but i really like that edit. 2 standouts for me: the delayed japan wackflip looked really cool, and the 540 nose tap looked so flowy.

to each their own though

ps. wackflip is not a term of endearment. i hope wackflip doesn't turn into afterbang, where it was a term to make fun of yourself or others for riding out all loose are retarded from a botched trick. a wackflip is a BAD thing.

you misinterpreated what i meant about rail tricks. I meant that i essentially throw them out of my evaluation of edits, including this one, because i dont like them.

Ok, and one of my favorit parts of that edit was the stalled/delayed backflip japan. happy with my terminology now?

I agree!! The editing/filming by Duncan is AMAZING. So life like and real, it was as if I was skiing right along side of Bobby. I don't understand why so many people find it difficult or weird to watch. I'd never seen such clarity in an edit! And Bobby's style is flawless for sure, most style I've seen from him imo. I just usually see competiton footy if Bobby. Loved the edit!
