I was going to go, but our photog had a back injury, and the other athlete bailed. Not about to do a 50 hour drive solo & the thompson pass is having the worst snow year in 20 years. They got hit by record breaking 180km/h winds that scoured the entire surface and blew a lot of snow away. Looks like they just got 15 inches of fresh, but who knows how stable that will be ontop of that wind crust layer. Super sick event, hope everyone up there stays safe.
its apparently one of the most badass gatherings ever. a few of my friends went last year and theyre going again this year. i think they're heading out friday or saturday. next year, i will be there.
seriously dude get over it and go at it(if she's up for that), turn the lights off, go wild while that raunchy yet titillating scent fills the air, and when your done admire that pollock like artwork that used to be the bed sheets---PASKIINGSUCKS
A bunch of boarders from Whis are flying up just for the King of the Hill comp instead of driving... I know 2-3 skiers up there for the comp but haven't heard anything yet. The WESC was supposed to be the 25-1st.
i know a lot of people weren't going to go for wesc... and im pretty sure they missed their weather window, but tailgate is f'in awesome. rv's, beer, salmon bakes, pow, helis, yurts, snow caves, shenanigans, awesomeness.
