the main reason why JF, Bdog and Woodsy (all great rail skiers) were able to do so well in this comp was because of the weather and speed associated speed issues. Almost half the field were unable to put down clean runs, the jumps weren't very big and almost everyone had trouble getting the right speed.
Hence the importance of rails in this comp. It was certainly great to see those guys take advantage of the opportunity to podium, but I'd be surprised if it becomes the norm.
