So last night my two buddies got in a fight with this kid who had been calling them out bad.

I was driving them and we roll up and this kid is chillin in a picnic shelter for a little firs we were all going to. So buddy 1 starts yelling at him to get the fuck out and fight like a man. After a little bit this isn't working, so buddy 2 runs in there and tells him to get out, and the kid throws first punch and proceeds to get worked by buddy 2. Kid walks out and buddy 1 is yelling at him, then starts to throw a few punches at him.

We didn't intervene as it wasn't much of a fight, we just watched, but I voiced how fucking pissed I was that it was 2 v 1 on him. The kid leaves seemingly all good just emotionally wrecked. I'm cruising about 20 min. later and get pulled over with both of my buddies in my truck and the cop basically just tells us to stop bothering people which we thought was dope.

Next morning I find out from my MOM that the kid was in the hospital last night for a concussion, and she said that he may press charges.

Keep in mind the the kid
-Provoked the shit out of my two buddies
-Threw the first punch
-Is 18, we're all 16

Is this kid going to have a case, and if so am I going to be dragged into this shit for driving?

concussions are serious business, he could charge assault on your buddies, but I doubt they would get you involved in this since you took no physical action against him.

I'm assuming this kid won't press charges because of the ridiculous amount he was asking for this shit, but I want to know what'll go down if he does.

How was he asking for it? from you explained it sounds like you and your two buddies rolled up on him alone, and when He didn't want to fight your bud went in fought him, then AFTER that your second bud got him again? That's fucked up. Please, provide the back story that made this so deserved.

Threats every day at school, two timing with his girlfriend, he let buddy 2's puppy out of his backyard to go get hit by a car, phone threats. Never would back it up though

First of all, he threw the first punch. An 18 year old punched a 16 year old. That's assault of a minor. He'd be an idiot to report anything to the police.

Second of all, there was three of you, one of him. All three of you have witnesses. He doesn't have anyone.

Third of all, you never mentioned driving them around specifically to find this guy and beat him up. You can't be charged as an accessory because you had no intent of that happening. (And if you did, stfu.)

Lastly, it was a pussy fist fight. No one got knocked out or had any severe lacerations. IFFFF this kid was underage, the very most your friends could MAYBE get is a misdemeanor for harassment. Which is nothing.

Yea if he would have been 16 and you and your friends were 18, different story. If he for some reason presses charges, I can't see any of it sticking to you.
