Basements still freak me out

Not nice looking basements, like creepy horror movie basements. My house is crazy old and the basement is super sketchy. I'm 22 and that shit still sketches me out.

Dude I've built things down, there been down there. It's still a sketchy creepy fucking place. I'm gonna not go down there if I need to. I'm not a pussy. It's a just a creepy fucking place.


If you saw it you'd be surprised that there aren't bodies buried around down there.

haha, I know your pain, my old house had a blood stain on basement floor where i fell and hit my face/head and bled a bunch, and it had one old light bulb for a room that was 50 sqft. I was scared as hell to go down there past 2 in the afternoon.

Stairs that I should rebuild that are pretty sketch. Lack of lighting, even the ghetto old as lighting doesnt really work. Random stuff all over. Not too many holes in the conrete floor. Some random wine celler body graveyard thing that i stack the wood in usually. Thing floods all the time. Random shelfing and all kinds of crap. Especially with the fucked up lighting it's pretty fucked to go down at 3am and snag wood.

Yeah. Even in the afternoon it's a fucking joke down there. And there are 2 windows I believer, maybe 3. They're 8 inches my 2 feet. Super small. So even in the afternoon there isn't shit for light getting down there but still it isn't as sketch as late at night.


Rob zombie would get a massive boner if he went down there

Even the stairs turn to the right at the top, theres a basement door that swings open in the wind if it's not locked. Even when I get to the turn I don't feel safe. Somethings possibly waiting to snag my ankles while I'm trying to get up the last few stairs and get the door open.

My attics pretty bad but not as bad. Super low ceiling at the stairs with nails in the roof that I've fucked my life on. But it still has a nicer feel than the graveyard of a basement. House is 100 years +. And in the middle of east bumfuck

Sometimes when I shut all the lights off in my basement I will run up the stairs instead of calmly walking. I'm not scared, just know that something will probably try and kill me in the dark.

the house i lived in for two years in Gladstone.. man scary basement. the house was over 100 years old.. and it was bulit by a butcher and in the basement is where it went down... it was sloped down so every thing would lead to the drain.....in the corner......great place to piss when you were drunk... it was huge and cool.. but man i get really stoned down there cause we made a stadium seating hangout.... and i swear i would see ghosts and shit.

i haul ass coming up the stairs after i turn the lights off. i take the steps 3 at a time and slam the door. and whenever i go to bed at night i always make sure the basement door is locked

my PS2 is set up in my basement, and its half furnished, ya know - carpeted, sheet rock hung, but still exposed piping and mad drafty. but when im playing a game, the lights glare on the screen, so i turn on a desk lamp next to the tv and turn off the big lights, but when i turn off the desk lamp when i go back p stairs, and its completely dark, i get kinda anxious.

You prob have bad wiring throughout the ceiling which causes a high emf which can make you feel anxiety, nauseas, or extremely uncomfortable or threatened.

im with you on this one, my house was over 100 yrs old, and the basement is incredibly sketch. It floods sometimes, theres always huge insects (cave crickets, spiders) down there. I had to kill 3 copperhead snakes down there last summer, fuck that basement.
