all feet are slightly different, and so are all feet. Go to a boot fitter and most importantly LISTEN TO HIM!

Get a boot that fits, and matches the flex of your ankle.
Don't ski/land back seat. Work on your shin muscle strength.

Go to your local shop and talk to the boot fitter. Thats your best bet for not getting shinbang.

No boot can guarantee to prevent shinbang, and anyone who tells you otherwise is feeding you bullshit. Shinbang results from the combination of poor fit and riding backseat. There is no magic boot to solve these problems...To avoid this ailment, simply buy your boots from a shop with a bootfitter. This is the way to get the boot that suits the anatomy of your foot and calf specifically, which is how you avoid shinbang and other discomforts associated with ski boots....Don't base your boot purchase based solely on brand.
