Luckily your femoral is on the inside of your leg.

Sucks dude, dealing with a injury in that area right now as well. Get off the pain meds as soon as you possibly can and start PT asap. Most importantly, just keep moving your leg, you'd be amazed how quickly your calf muscles will start to degenerate.
