Ok, first of all this is not a warranty thread or a kid crying about his skis, im taking this really chill and i think its pretty funny and thats why im posting this so you can laugh too.
If you dont want to read the whole story just go down and look at the pictures.
Today i was training at lake louise for this freeski comp, pretty good, getting my line nailed, hucking some cliffs, trying some new airs whatever, at the end of the day me and my friend found this super nice tranny were you could get easily 30 feet and we thought it was really nice. Without thinking about it, i just hit it, went pretty big probably near 35 feet and then i landed pretty smooth but i landed on a semi-flat spot with no tracks, so the snow was really soft and one of my skis got caught under the powder, long story short, i was tomahawking without skis down the run, not bad, didnt get hurt or anything, so i started laughing putting my skis back and keep skiing.
So then we went to the lodge because id lost my phone (bad day) and i went to the lost and found and i found it, i was super happy and prepared to shred some park at louise (btw the louise park its pretty sick) so i picked up my pow skis (i was just going to hit some jump, i never do rails on my pow skis but i hit a lot of rocks hahahaha). So as soon as I picked up my skis I noticed this shit on my skis:
(sorry for the crappy pictures, were taken with my cellphone)
Ok so now, tomorrow i have the qualifications and my skis are at the repair shop, but they are doing just a fast repair with ptex and probably nothing else, but then i will have to do a major repair to my skis if not get a new pair, i dont want to be skiing and break my skis in the middle of a run or landing a cliff hahaha.
So the funny thing about the whole story is that i dont have a clue of how this shit happened, i think it was that jump i talked you guys about, but it could be something else because i dont think i hit any rock.
And now for spendind your time on my thread, i will leave you this picture of the perfect pancake that i made.
